MASSAGE ENVY SPA DONATES MORE THAN $115,000 TO WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT
Washington D.C.-Maryland-Northern Virginia region Massage Envy Spa membersalso contributed 739 free massages for veterans

The 37 Massage Envy Spas located within the Washington, D.C., Maryland and Northern Virginia region raised a total of $115,824.50 for Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP). Each clinic donated $10 for every massage or facial session provided on Veterans Day. Additionally, the total reflects 739 donated massage sessions by Massage Envy Spa members, a retail value of $88,673, to provide a free massage to a veteran or service member.
“Wounded Warrior Project® is incredibly humbled by Massage Envy Spa Washington D.C., Maryland and Northern Virginia region’s generous donation,” said Michael Richardson, WWP Independent Services Executive Vice President. “On behalf of our warriors, their families and the staff of WWP, we’d like to thank Massage Envy Spa for their continued support in honoring and empowering this generation of our nation’s veterans.”
Wounded Warrior Project serves veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound, co-incident to their military service on or after Sept. 11, 2001 and their families.

“We will never be able to give enough credit to all of our members, guests and staff who worked so hard to raise such a significant amount for this worthy cause,” said Ronn Wadsworth, regional executive director for Massage Envy Spas in Washington, D.C., Maryland and Northern Virginia. “And we look forward to growing our relationship with WWP in the years to come.”
