NVFS Honors 2 Falls-Church-Based "Companies As Responsive Employers" with the CARE Award
Evans Incorporated and Tax Analysts Selected for Outstanding Family-Friendly Workplace Policies

The annual CARE Awards, presented by Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS), honor 13 local companies this year as leaders in family-friendly workplaces and policies. Winning companies are selected based on their performance in the categories of flexible work arrangements, dependent care, work/family stress management, and benefits and community involvement. After submitting a written application that covers all of these categories in detail, finalists receive intensive site visits and an anonymous employee survey. The CARE Advisory Committee has announced the following winners for 2015:
- AMERICAN SYSTEMS: federal defense contractor located in Chantilly
- Cassaday & Company, Inc.: financial planning firm located in McLean
- Consumer Electronics Association: technology standards organization located in Arlington
- CustomInk: t-shirt design company located in Fairfax
- Dimension Data: information and communications technology provider located in Reston
- Evans Incorporated: technology management consulting firm located in Falls Church
- FMP Consulting: management and strategic consulting firm located in Alexandria
- ICF International: management, technology and policy consulting firm located in Fairfax
- Knight Point Systems, LLC: information technology consulting firm located in Reston
- National Rural Electronic Cooperative Association: electric cooperative representative organization located in Arlington
- NetImpact Strategies, Inc.: information technology and management consulting firm located in Vienna
- Tax Analysts: tax news and analysis publisher located in Falls Church
- Ventera Corporation: software engineering and management consulting firm located in Reston
Awards will be presented to these companies at the 23rd Annual CARE Awards Breakfast, held this year on Thursday, November 5 at the Fairview Park Marriott in Falls Church, Virginia.
