Come hear top students from the world-renowned Oberlin Conservatory of Music in a free concert performance on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at 7:30pm at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax, 2709 Hunter Mill Road in Oakton, VA. The event will take place in the Sanctuary.
Performers include violinists Hannah Dara, R. Henry Jenkins, and Kah Yan Lee; mezzo-soprano Kayleigh Decker; soprano Heidi Middendorf, cellist Rachel Mills; and pianist Joseph Williams.
The program will feature: Richard Strauss: Bretano Lieder (Amor), Joseph Haydn: String Quartet No. 64 in D Major, Op. 76, No. 5 (III., IV.), Claude Debussy: Proses Lyriques, Johannes Brahms: String Quartet No. 1 in C Minor, Op. 51 (I.) and Darius Milhaud: Chanson de Ronsard.
