One More Page Books Co-Hosts Second Annual NoVa TEEN Book Festival
NoVA Teen Book Festival is returning! More than 20 YA authors will participate in breakout sessions, author panels and book signings.

One More Page Books, an independent, neighborhood-oriented bookstore, partners with Arlington Public Library, Fairfax County Public Library, and Arlington Public Schools and sponsors Falls Church City Public Schools and George Mason University’s Fall for the Book to bring the second annual NoVa TEEN Book Festival to town. Held on Saturday, March 7th, 2015, NoVa TEEN is an exciting all-day young adult literary festival that is open to the general public. Admission is free.
More than 20 authors will take part in the NoVa TEEN Book Festival, which opens at 9:30 am at Washington-Lee High School, located at 1301 N. Stafford Street, Arlington, VA 22201. Author panels and breakout sessions will be held in the morning and afternoon; the event will close out with a keynote speech from critically-acclaimed author Matt de la Peña, whose latest release is “The Living.” Food trucks for Mac’s Donuts and The Big Cheese will be on-site to provide lunch. The event also brings in donations, advertising and sponsors from other local businesses and residents. One More Page Books will be on-site throughout the day offering the participating authors’ books for sale which authors will sign at the end of the day from 4:00-5:30 pm.
Other authors participating in the festival include: Martina Boone (Compulsion), Tracy Clark (Deviate: The Light Key Trilogy #2), Seth Fishman (The Dark Water: The Well’s End #2), Maggie Hall (The Conspiracy of Us), Rachel Hawkins (Rebel Belle), Shaun Hutchinson (The Five Stages of Andrew Brawley), Lydia Kang (Catalyst: Control #2), Alethea Kontis (Dearest: Woodcutter Sisters #3), Jessica Khoury (Kalahari), Melissa Marr (Made for You), Jennifer Niven (All the Bright Places), Sara Raasch (Snow Like Ashes), Jason Reynolds (The Boy in the Black Suit), Morgan Rhodes (Gathering Darkness: Falling Kingdoms #3), Marie Rutkoski (The Winner’s Crime), Kristen Simmons (The Glass Arrow), Kat Spears (Sway), Robin Talley (Lies We Tell Ourselves), and Jasmine Warga (My Heart and Other Black Holes). These authors plus some local authors will also visit 13 area high schools the day before the festival. “We were thrilled with the response from our local community and the attendance at NoVa TEEN last year,” says One More Page owner Eileen McGervey. “So we’re especially delighted that it’s back.
