Mt. Daniel Bond Referendum on the Ballot November 4th - What’s it all about?

In the late 1980s the Falls Church City Council passed an ordinance to require any capital project costing in excess of 10 percent of the City’s annual operating budget be approved directly by the Falls Church City voters via referendum on the local election ballot.

The proposed Mt. Daniel Renovation project meets this criterion. In July the City Council voted to place the Mt. Daniel Bond Referendum on the November ballot for approval.
