The pursuit began at about 8:33 a.m., when an officer attempted to pull over Porter’s vehicle for a traffic violation on Stringfellow Road near Melville Lane, the report stated.
The driver disregarded the officer’s signal to stop and continued south on Stringfellow, going under the bridge for Interstate 66. The vehicle stopped on Singletons Way near Federation Drive, just south of New Braddock Road in Centreville, and Porter was arrested, the police said.
