Republican Women of Clifton welcome terrorism analyst, Erick Stakelbeck, to speak at May Meeting

Erick Stakelbeck will present "Target America; Why You Should Care About the Rise of ISIS."

The Republican Women of Clifton are pleased to welcome Erick Stakelbeck, investigative journalist and author, at its May meeting. Members and guests will hear how the Islamic State is a threat not only to the Middle East, but to America through its network of sympathizers and supporters in the West.

The event will be May 20, 2015 at Fairview Elementary School, 5815 Ox Road, Fairfax Station. The social half-hour begins at 7 PM and the business meeting and presentation follows at 7:30 PM.

Stakelbeck is a sought after authority on Middle East and national security-related issues with extensive experience in television, radio, print and digital media. He covers Middle East news and related topics for CBN’s Washington DC bureau and host the weekly CBN News program, The Watchman with Erick Stakelbeck, seen on DirectTV, The Dish Network and regional affiliates throughout the US as well as in Europe. He is a regular guest on Fox News and The Blaze TV and his articles have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, Weekly Standard, Washington Times, New York Post, Jerusalem Post and National Review Online.

Stakelbeck has authored the books ”The Terrorist Next Door: How the Government is Deceiving You About the Islamist Threat” and ”The Brotherhood: America’s Next Great Enemy.”

His third book, ”ISIS Exposed: Beheadings, Slavery and the Hellish Reality of Radical Islam” was released on March 9, 2015 and will be available for purchase after the presentation.
