Falls Church Fire A Total Loss
The fire caused extensive damage to the home and hospitalized the resident.

A resident was injured and hospitalized after a severe fire in Falls Church Sunday morning. The home was a total loss.
The resident had evacuated from the fire in the 500 block of Great Falls Street when firefighters arrived around 3:50 a.m. Arlington County and Fairfax County firefighters responded to the two-alarm fire.
The fire caused extensive damage to the home. Crews remained on scene for hours knocking down spots of the fire and cleaning up.

The Falls Church Fire Marshal is investigating the fire's cause. Police Chief Mary Gavin said Great Falls Street would be closed through the morning.
