The city's Recreation and Parks Department has announced some camps will take place in July.

FALLS CHURCH, VA — The Falls Church Recreation and Parks Department announced certain summer camps will happen in July. A decision on August camps will be made by July 20.

After a comprehensive review, the department allowed some camps to proceed. Camps will follow rules based on guidance from the governor, Virginia Department of Social Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and more. Indoor camps are limited to 22 people and outdoor camps are limited to 50 people, including staff.

Social distancing will be enforced for campers and staff while accounting for the care and developmental needs of children. Before being allowed into camp each day, participants must pass a morning health check.
