'Transform 66' Project Meeting Oct. 6 in Falls Church
There will be three meetings regarding enhancements to I-66 inside the beltway, and three more regarding changes outside the beltway.

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will host a series of public information meetings about its “Transform 66” programs both inside and outside the beltway.
The “Inside the Beltway” program will involve “converting I-66 to dynamically-priced toll lanes in both directions during morning and afternoon rush hours between I-495 (the Capital Beltway) and U.S. Route 29 in Rosslyn,” read a recent VDOT bulletin.
The “Outside the Beltway” program includes “multimodal improvements along 25 miles of I-66 between I-495 (the Capital Beltway) and U.S. Route 15 in Haymarket.”

There will be three meetings next month about changes inside the beltway, and three more meetings later in October about changes outside the beltway.

Outside the beltway meetings will take place from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on:

- Tuesday, Oct. 20, VDOT Northern Virginia District Office, 4795 Alliance Drive, Fairfax, Va., 22030
