Virginia Tech Alumni Association announces the 24th Annual National Capital Region Chapter Career Showcase

Falls Church, Va. — Registration is officially open for the Virginia Tech National Capital Region’s 24th Annual Career Showcase (formerly the Job Fair) on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. This year’s Career Showcase will be held in Falls Church, Va., conveniently located adjacent to the West Falls Church Metro Station.

Washington, D.C. Metro area companies are encouraged to register for the Career Showcase. The Career Showcase will help consolidate 2015 recruiting efforts and provide a jump start on hiring the perfect candidates.

Each year, the Virginia Tech National Capital Region’s Career Showcase brings together a diverse group of candidates looking for internships, entry-level, mid-level and more senior level positions. Marketing efforts include targeting candidates through print media, social media, radio advertising and college career centers. In past years, more than 1,500 job seekers have attended. There are a limited number of spots for companies interested in hosting a table on-site at the Career Showcase. To register your company and participate, visit the Career Showcase page.

Your $600 registration fee allows company admission for 2 recruiters, a 5-foot table with 2 chairs, access to private interview rooms, refreshments and portal access to resumes submitted by candidates who may or may not attend the showcase. The first two recruiters are included in the registration fee; additional recruiters may attend for an additional $50 each.

The Career Showcase is conveniently located at the Northern Virginia Grad Center in Falls Church VA, adjacent to the West Falls Church Metro station. Parking is limited, so it is highly recommended that participants use the METRO for transportation (Orange Line). The Career Showcase is not just for Virginia Tech alumni but is open to the public and admission is free for applicants.
