Wegmans Accepting Applications For Virtual Hiring Event To Fill 350 Positions At VA Stores

VIRGINIA — Wegmans Food Markets is hosting a virtual hiring event on Tuesday to fill more than 350 positions at 14 stores in Virginia, including the Wegmans Carlyle in Alexandria, which is scheduled to open in spring 2022.

The available positions include customer service roles across the store, including merchandising, front-end, culinary, perishable departments and pharmacy. All interviews will be conducted by telephone, with no video included.

Members of the public interested in interviewing for a position should visit Wegmans website where they can submit an online application. A member of the Wegmans hiring team will contact applicants to schedule a time for the phone interview.

Wegmans offers an employee scholarship program available to both full-time and part-time employees. The company promotes from within and has announced future plans for additional stores in Virginia and Maryland.
