When was the business founded and how did it come to be?

We started working on the website in June of 2012 and officially opened in January 2012. The Virginia Wedding Belles grew out of helping my daughter locate vendors for her wedding a couple of years ago. I fell in love with all things wedding and started a DIY website call TheWeddingGals.net. The Virginia Wedding Belles grow out of my wanting to further help local brides find wedding vendors. I make every attempt to have as complete a listing of reliable vendors in the Fredericksburg area.

What type of product/service does your business offer?

The Virginia Wedding Belles is an online wedding vendor website for the Fredericksburg area. We help promote local businesses to brides within 50 miles of Fredericksburg. I extended it out to fifty miles as there are a few lovely venues that would otherwise be left out. I write a blog highlighting shows/events. What's a fact about your business that most customers don't know?

I maintain my own website so I have a lot of flexibility in updating information. I try and put myself in a bride's shoes and ask what other information are brides looking for? I love, love, love Pinterest.
