Card Cellar Moving to Downtown Fredericksburg
Sports collectibles shop leaves Four-Mile Fork location for Caroline Street storefront
After two years with a vacancy at 915 Caroline St., owner Joe Wilson finally has a tenant in , who will be moving out of its current Four-Mile-Fork location for an Oct. 1 opening.
The Card Cellar specializes in sports collectibles, trophies and plaques and often has star players from the past come visit for signings. Wilson said the business has been at Four-Mile Fork for the past 20 years.
Owner Bart Goldberg says he is excited about locating to downtown Fredricksburg and is looking forward to attracting new clientele as well as maintaining his base of old-time customers that have been with him for years. He feels that the increased foot traffic on Caroline Street will be a big plus for his business, Wilson said.

Wilson said The Card Cellar will be a unique store to downtown.
"I have been fairly selective when it comes to renting space in the Wilson Building. We wanted a quality tenant with a record of sustainability," he said.
