Heroin Raid Leads To Charges Against Stafford Man
He's accused of dealing drugs out of his home, says the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — A Stafford man has been accused of dealing heroin out of his home after county narcotics detectives raided his residence Monday afternoon, according to the Stafford Sheriff's Office. The detectives obtained a search warrant for the house at 138 Rocky Run Road following a lengthy investigation.
Richard Hughes Jr., 58, who lives at the house, faces one count of distribution and one count of possession with the intent to distribute heroin, the sheriff's office said. In Hughes's home, detectives found heroin packaged for sale, along with "a substantial amount of cash, needles and other paraphernalia," the sheriff's office said in a statement.

A spokesman for the sheriff's office told the Free Lance-Star that the investigation determined that heroin was being sold at the residence to multiple buyers.
Also arrested Monday at the residence was Dylan Hughes, 23, who was charged with one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. The sheriff's office said that more charges are pending in the case.
