Spotsylvania police detectives began investigating Miller when it was reported to police that he had allegedly sent the victim a link to a pornographic website. The detectives and investigators from Child Protective Services determined that Miller had also made inappropriate contact with the child, the sheriff’s office said.
Based on evidence uncovered during the investigation, a search warrant was executed on Miller’s residence, and several items of evidence were collected that corroborated earlier investigative findings, the sheriff’s office said.
The Spotylvania police and other investigators also recovered cell phones and computers that yielded several hundred pornographic images involving children, according to the sheriff’s office.
