Summer Restaurant Week, Aug. 1-10; Sandwich Invitational July 31

Yes, you want to dine out for Fredericksburg's Summer Restaurant Week, but before you get those great deals, you'll want to try the FXBG Sandwich Invitational.

The event will be from 4-6 p.m. July 31 at Hurkamp Park in Fredericksburg.

For $25, you'll be able to try sample-size sandwiches from participating restaurants, along with non-alcoholic specialty drink pairings.

The event also includes live music from Ashleigh Chevalier and her band and a free photo booth.

Tickets are available at the Fredericksburg Visitor Center, 706 Caroline Street.
