Two Bodies Found in Culpeper Park

Authorities are investigating the scene at a park in Culpeper County where two adults were found dead Thursday in a vehicle, according to the county sheriff’s office.

The two bodies - one male, one female - were found at about 5:35 p.m. at Mountain Run Lake Park. Both had “obvious signs of trauma,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement.

Law enforcement agencies are not looking for a suspect at this time, the sheriff’s office added.

Anyone who visited the lake Thursday and heard or saw anything suspicious is asked to contact the Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office at (540) 727-7900.
