Police Investigate Break-In at Downtown Store

Fredericksburg police are investigating a break-in near midnight Friday at a downtown store.

Police responded between 12:15 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. Friday to a burglar alarm activation at Natural Mystics, 1002 Prince Edward St., according to a police report. They found that the glass front door had been shattered. There were also inventory items scattered around on the floor, and some merchandise was missing.

The police are investigating the incident as a burglary, according to the police report.
