• 137 vases stolen from Tennessee, Virginia cemeteries recovered by police (wate.com) — Investigators traced a major cemetery theft case to a recycling yard in Gate City, where 131 stolen bronze vases were recovered and the business owner was arrested. The vases, taken from graves in Northeast Tennessee and Scott County, Virginia, represent only about a third of what's missing. Families affected are urged to contact Sullivan County authorities to help match recovered vases to loved ones' gravesites.
