• Cape Charles Adopts Rules for Eastern Shore Rail Trail, Bans Most Motorized Vehicles (capecharlesmirror.com) — Hallwood is set to become the northern endpoint of a 49‑mile Eastern Shore Rail Trail, as Cape Charles just adopted rules banning most motorized vehicles on its in‑town segment. The ordinance allows only Class 1 and 2 e‑bikes, with exceptions for emergency and mobility‑related vehicles, aiming to keep the future Hallwood‑to‑Cape Charles corridor safe for walkers and cyclists.
