Court Square Theater Living Room Series - Dawn Landes

Tickets are now on sale for the Saturday, Nov 22 performance by Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Dawn Landes at Court Square Theater (CST). Part of CST’s Living Room Series, the 7:30 pm event is part concert and part live interview, hosted by The Steel Wheels Frontman Trent Wagler.

Doors open at 7 pm for the 7:30 pm show. Tickets ($30 advance; $35 at door) are now available online at courtsquaretheater.org. CST’s Fall 2025 Living Room Series is sponsored by Bella Luna Wood-Fired Pizza.

“Dawn Landes - raised in Louisville - has been writing songs for most of her life,” noted Justin Reiter, CST Managing Director, “and she has more than a decade of experience as a professional producer and engineer.”

Her new album Bluebird was produced in collaboration with good friend Thomas Bartlett (known for his work with The National), Sharon Van Etten, Rufus Wainwright, Antony and the Johnsons, and many others, and features contributions from Tony Scherr, Rob Moose, and Norah Jones.

Landes' music is a compelling mix of alternative folk with instrumental experimentation - guitar, accordion, glockenspiel and optigan give her sweet-sounding indie-pop grooves just the right hint of country.

Host and interviewer for the evening, Trent Wagler is lead singer and primary songwriter for The Steel Wheels. He penned many of the band's songs in response to loss and the uncertainty that comes with facing what we can’t control.
