• Elkton residents, 9/11 heroes reflect on 25 years of remembrance (dnronline.com) — Elkton Middle School marked the 25th anniversary of 9/11 by welcoming two former NYPD first responders back to town to reconnect with students and staff. Former sixth-graders who once wrote them letters returned to share memories, honor victims, and celebrate Elkton’s long-running tradition of supporting first responders and keeping the attacks’ lessons alive for new generations.
