• Broadway's comeback story: Lucas Frank's return to gameday (whsv.com) — A Broadway High School senior, Lucas Frank, is back starting at center after beating childhood cancer, thanks in part to strong support from the Broadway community. Neighbors raised money, coaches stayed close, and local gyms helped him rebuild strength so he could return to Gobbler Stadium. His family now hopes his story encourages other families facing similar diagnoses.
   

• Broadway football avoids letdown, rolls past Central to stay unbeaten (dnronline.com) — Broadway High’s football team stayed unbeaten at home, exploding for a 44-7 win over Central behind a big night from quarterback Brenden Glovier and running back Landon Fox. The Gobblers’ offense, defense, and special teams all contributed, and Broadway now sits at 3-0. They’ll stay in town next week to host Spotswood in a non-district showdown.
