2 Herndon Homes Burglarized Just Steps From Each Other: Police

HERNDON, VA -- Police are looking for a suspect after two homes just steps from each other in Herndon were robbed over a two-day period.

Police say that in the 2400 block of Cypress Green Lane between 5:30 and 11:45 p.m. on Oct. 20, residents returned home and found that a number of items were missing, according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.

Police also believe that sometime between 12 and 8 p.m. on Oct. 21, someone entered a home in the 13100 block of Diamond Mill Road and stole items, the report states.

The two addresses are less than a third of a mile apart.
