2 Robbery Suspects Sought By Herndon Police
Herndon Police are investigating a June 12 robbery and assault that took place on Elden Street.

HERNDON, VA — Herndon Police are looking for two suspects who they say robbed and assaulted a man June 12 on Elden Street, according to the weekly crime report.
The victim was walking in the 1100 block of Elden Street, shortly before 9 p.m., when he was approached by two men from behind. They then assaulted him and took his wallet. The victim was taken to Reston Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police describe the first suspect as a Black man, about 5-foot-10 in height. He was wearing a black skull cap, black face covering, black and gray checkered pajama pants, a white T-shirt with black sleeves, black slides, and white socks.

The second suspect, according to police, was a Black man, about 5-foot-8 in height. He was wearing a black face covering, white T-shirt with a rounded cut bottom, white sneakers, and black skinny jeans.
This case remains under investigation.

During the week of June 8-14, Town of Herndon officers issued 91 traffic summons, including two for driving while intoxicated and 6 for driving with no operators license.
There were 6 reportable traffic accidents in Herndon last week. Virginia State Police define "reportable crashes" as those that result in $1,500 in property damage and/or injury.
