2016 Election Results: Here's How Herndon Voted
Herndon voted for Hillary Clinton in huge numbers, helping her take the state of Virginia.
HERNDON, VA — Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton in a shocking upset in the presidential election on Nov. 8. Clinton did easily win Prince George's County, and subsequently Maryland and its 10 electoral votes.
With 99.65 percent of precincts reporting, Hillary Clinton won 20,072 votes (63.1 percent) in Herndon, whereas Donald Trump won 9,479 (29.8 percent).
Gary Johnson won 970 votes (3 percent), and Jill Stein received 297 votes (1 percent). Evan McMullin received 619 (2 percent).

There were a total of 385 write-in ballots cast in Herndon.
