$312K VA Lottery Win Makes Herndon Man Think He's Dreaming
A Herndon mover won recently $312,273 in the Virginia Lottery's Cash 5 with EZ Match game.
HERNDON, VA — When Jorge Carabantes of Herndon learned that he'd matched all five numbers and won $312,273 in the Virginia Lottery's Cash 5 with EZ Match game, he thought he was still sleeping.
“It’s like I was dreaming!” he told lottery officials. “We still cannot believe this is real!”
Carabantes purchased his ticket for the Nov. 21 drawing at the 7-Eleven at 22065 Rail Car Drive in Sterling. He let the computer randomly choose his numbers — 3-7-16-27-42 which won him $312,273. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 749,398.

Carabantes, who works as a mover, told lottery officials that he hasn't decided how to spend his winning except to pay bills.
