4 Charged In Valentine's Day Assault, Malicious Wounding
Herndon Police arrested four individuals in connection with a Valentine's Day assault and wounding following an altercation.

HERNDON, VA — The Herndon Police Department arrested four suspects in connection with a Valentine's Day assault and malicious wounding, according to the weekly crime report.
HPD made the arrests Friday, Feb. 14, following an altercation among a group of people who knew each other. Officers charged Rafael Flores, 18, of Herndon; Jonah Crespo, 18, of Herndon; and Franklin Crespo, 44, of Herndon, with assault and malicious wounding. They were then taken to Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and held without bond.
Following an investigation, officers determined another individual — Carlos Carcheri Coronel — would be charged with assault.

During the week of Feb. 10-16, Town of Herndon officers issued 152 traffic summons, including three for driving while intoxicated, nine for driving with no operators license, and two for driving on a suspended license.

There were 11 reportable traffic accidents in Herndon during the week. Virginia State Police define "reportable crashes" as those that result in $1,500 in property damage and/or injury.
