Reston resident and Realtor Michele Hudnall joined Part 2 of The Reston Observerโs four-part podcast series on the Reston National Golf Course applications, following Hunter Mill District Supervisor Walter Alcorn in Part 1.
In a companion write-up, Hudnall lays out the three routes the owner has taken since 2015, the two tracks every planned development must clear under Fairfax Countyโs Comprehensive Plan and zoning, and 1970 County development plans that label the course permanent open space with no unit count.
She also compares County assessments: land across South Lakes Drive that carries the 1966 B-555 zoning is assessed at about five times the golf course, per acre.
