Dark Gray SUV Sought In Herndon Shooting Incident: Updated
Herndon police are seeking a dark gray SUV they say was involved in a shooting incident Monday afternoon in Herndon.

HERNDON, VA — Herndon Police Department is asking the public's help in locating a gray vehicle involved in a shooting incident Monday afternoon in Herndon, according to a 3:07 p.m. post on the department's official Twitter account.
Officers responded to the 900 block of Alabama Drive for the report of shots fired. The vehicle involved in the shooting was originally described as a gray Jeep Grand Cherokee but police later said the vehicle was described as a Dodge SUV, possibly a Journey. Police say the vehicle has scraping along the rear passenger door.

Police cleared the had area by 5:40 p.m. and no injuries were reported. Anyone with information about the incident or the vehicle involved is asked to call HPD at 703-435-6846.
