Dramatic High-Speed Chase In Fairfax County South Of Herndon Ends In Arrest [VIDEO]
Police have arrested a motorcyclist who led police on a pursuit on I-66 in nearby Centreville early Thursday morning.
FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA — Police have arrested a man who led police on a high-speed pursuit on Interstate 66 and Route 28 in Fairfax County Thursday morning.
NBC 4's news helicopter captured pictures and video from the chase, which are embedded below.
The Washington Post reports that the incident happened just before 7 a.m. when Virginia State Police troopers tried to conduct a traffic stop on I-66 eastbound near Route 28. The motorcyclist refused to stop and hit speeds of 100 miles per hour before crashing the bike, according to the report.

The motorcyclist then fled into a wooded area, where police found him and took him into custody.
