Christian Robert Holmberg was born with Down syndrome, survived open heart surgery at 4 years of age, and passed away at 39 after a valiant battle with ALS. His unwavering optimism, strength of character, magnetic personality, and sense of decency allowed him to overcome both his handicaps and societal prejudices to lead a life that touched and inspired many.
In Christian's memory we are proud to again host the Christian Holmberg Memorial Golf Tournament. Our sole purpose (and all proceeds) is to benefit organizations that advocate for and support special needs individuals as well as recognize some amazing young people who give selflessly of themselves to befriend and enhance the lives of these wonderful people.
