Fairfax County School Board Election Is Today, Here's Where To Vote In Herndon

HERNDON, VA — It's time to cast your vote for the Fairfax County School Board special election, and polls will be open until 7 p.m. Tuesday. Here's what you need to know.

Republican candidate: Chris S. Grisafe, backed by the Fairfax County Republican Committee. More information here.

Democratic candidate: Karen A. Keys-Gamarra, backed by the Fairfax County Democratic Committee. More information here.

Other candidates: Sandra D. Allen (info) and Michael H. Owens (info).

The winner will take over the seat vacated by Jeannette Hough, who stepped down effective June 1. The term will run through December 2019.
