Herndon Cops Chase Reston Weed Enthusiast Through Town: Police
Police also charged four other people in his car with marijuana possession.

HERNDON, VA — A Reston man is behind bars after police say he abandoned four other people in his car who were all carrying marijuana when an Herndon police officer tried to conduct a traffic stop last Thursday.
A police officer observed a traffic infraction in the 800 block of Alabama Drive on March 2 and initiated a traffic stop, according to a report from the Herndon Police Department.
However, when the vehicle stopped, the driver "immediately exited the vehicle and fled on foot," the report states.

With the help of a Fairfax County helicopter, police tracked down 19-year-old Tyquan Quantae Johnson of Reston in the 400 block of Pickett Lane, the report adds, noting that Johnson was charged with driving while suspended, possession of marijuana, eluding on foot, and displaying a fictitious license plate. He is currently being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center on bond.
Johnson left behind four other occupants in the vehicle, who were arrested and released on summons for possession of marijuana, the report states.
