Herndon Farmers' Market To Open on Thursday

It will have two new vendors, and all vendors from 2014 are returning.

The Herndon’s Farmers’ Market will open for 2015 on Thursday in the 700 block of Lynn Street, by the Red Caboose in Old Town Herndon. The market will be open from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. New this year:

SNAP at the Farmers’ Market and bonus dollars:

SNAP is a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program offered at the Herndon Farmers’ Market this season in cooperation with the Fairfax County Park Authority and volunteers from FISH. For additional information, please click here.

New Vendors for 2015:

  • Lamb’s Quarter - featuring grass fed pork and lamb, free-range poultry and eggs
  • Wigglesworth Granola - fresh granola and granola bars

And all of our vendors from 2014 will be returning to the market!

Come visit us and become a “regular” shopper. Our vendors are always willing to discuss their products and answer your questions.

Vendors can only sell produce that they grow and are located within a 125-mile radius of Fairfax County, ensuring that your purchases will be fresh.

2015 Vendors:

  • Cavanna Pasta: a variety of homemade pastas and sauces
  • Chef Eloy’s Salsa: homemade salsas - each one is unique
  • Fun Country Kettle Corn: a snack the whole family will enjoy
  • Grace’s Pastries: a selection of breads, cookies and pastries
  • Hutt’s Produce: fresh fruits and vegetables
  • J & W Valley View Farm: fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs
  • McCall’s Ferry Farm: grass-fed beef products
  • McCleaf’s Orchards: fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs
  • Mount Olympus: fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Santa Cruz Produce: fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Sweet Thang Bakery: sweet treats
  • Whim Pop: frozen fruit pops

Also featuring The Master Gardeners. Bring your questions and/or your plants to see what type of care they need to thrive.

Please note that due to regulations from the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, no pets are allowed within the Farmers Market.
