High-Speed Pursuit Ends In Arrest For Herndon Man: Police
The incident happened hours before a Reston teen was also arrested on similar charges in Loudoun County.

ALDIE, VA — A few hours before a Reston teen was arrested on charges of fleeing police in a vehicle in Ashburn, a Herndon man was also arrested after leading police on a high-speed chase in Aldie, according to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
A deputy "observed a vehicle traveling over the posted speed limit" at 3:14 p.m. Oct. 1 near the intersection of Eagles Landing Place and Deer Point Ct., the report states.
"When the deputy activated their emergency equipment, the driver accelerated and sped off," it adds. "The pursuit ended in the area Eagles Landing Place."

Police charged 43-year-old Rama K. Grandhi of Herndon with eluding police and reckless driving (20 miles per hour or more over the posted limit). He was released on a secured bond from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
