Holiday Homes Tour of Herndon

Herndon residents open their homes, decorated for the Holidays, to tour-goers from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on December 6th. Local civic groups provide tour guides for the homes and describe the homes’ history, collections, architecture, etc. Proceeds from the tour are then distributed to the participating community groups. Each year about 300 people enjoy getting new holiday decorating ideas, learn a little about Herndon’s history, and get into the holiday spirit! Tickets are $20 each, the week of the tour and are available at the Herndon Florist and at the Herndon Community Center. The tour is sponsored by the Town’s Cultivating Community Initiative, made up of resident volunteers. This year the civic groups participating are; the Herndon Woman’s Club, The Rotary Club of Herndon, The Fortnightly Club of Herndon, The Herndon Order of the Eastern Star, and the Herndon Foundation for the Cultural Arts/ArtSpace.
