Hunan Herndon Closed

The restaurant loved by many Herndon residents is closed and up for lease

, a well loved restaurant located in the Herndon Centre, has closed its doors. The restaurant was in a staple in town for decades.

The windows are covered in paint and a "retail space for lease" sign hangs in the window. The Hunan Herndon signs have been removed and the phone number disconnected.

A peek inside the restaurant shows furniture, televisions, glasses and other goods have been left inside the space. Representatives at A.J. Dwoskin & Associates, which manages the property, said the restaurant was at the end of its lease and chose not to renew, possibly because of the loss of a chef.
