HYS' U9 Argentinos Jr's Black Bring Home Championship

The U9 Argentinos Jr's Black soccer team had its first opportunity to represent Herndon Youth Soccer while competing at the SAC Columbus Day tournament in Columbia, MD Oct. 8-9. The Argentinos Jr's showed amazing foot skills, quality passing and great teamwork, scoring 11 goals and allowing only five. The team went undefeated in group play they had a decisive semi-final victory. Their final match exhibited the team's toughness and heart and they won 2-1, bringing the championship back to Herndon.
