Police Charge Sterling Youth, 18, With Murder
Homicide may be gang-related, say Fairfax County police.

Fairfax County police have arrested a Sterling teenager and charged him with the murder of a Herndon-area man whose remains were found near a local stream.
Detectives arrested Moises Dominguez, 18, of 1051 Ironwood Road on Wednesday and charged him with the slaying of William Adolfo Rivas Leiva, 22, the police announced Thursday. They said they are looking into the possibility that the homicide was gang-related.

Rivas Leiva’s body was found on March 16 in a wooded area at Folly Lick Stream, in the 1500 block of Hiddenbrook Drive in Herndon. Police have said the victim suffered trauma to the upper body, but they have not released the cause of death.
