HERNDON, VA — Four candidates running for the Herndon Town Council are participating in a virtual question-and-answer session Wednesday night.

Candidates Bessie Denton, Signe Friedrichs, Clark Hedrick, and Stevan Porter will be fielding questions from town residents from 7:30-9 p.m., on Wednesday. Those interested in participating must register in advance. Once participants complete the registration, they will receive an email containing information on how to participate in the webinar.

Both Porter and Hedrick are hosting Wednesday's virtual Q&A session.

For the Office of Mayor, Sheila Olem, who is currently the town's Vice Mayor, is running against Roland B. Taylor.

Of these candidates, del Aguila, Dhakal, and Friedrichs are currently serving on the Town Council.

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3. Polls for the town's election will be the same locations as for the national elections taking place on that day. Fairfax County administers elections in the Herndon.
