Town Of Herndon Releases Slate Of Candidates
The Town of Herndon released the list of Town Council and Office of Mayor candidates for the Nov. 3 election.
HERNDON, VA — The Town of Herndon released the slate of candidates for Mayor and Town Council earlier this week for the 2021-22 term.
For the Office of Mayor, Sheila Olem, who is currently the town's Vice Mayor, is running against Roland B. Taylor.
The candidates for the Town Council's six seats are:

- Cesar A. del Aguila
- Bessie E. Denton
- Pradip Dhakal
- Signe V. Friedrichs
- Clark A. Hedrick
- Syed F. Iftikhar
- Stevan M. Porter
- Sean M. Regan
- Jasbinder Singh
Of these candidates, del Aguila, Dhakal, and Friedrichs are currently serving on the Town Counci.
Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3. Polls for the town's election will be the same locations as for the national elections taking place on that day. Fairfax County administers elections in the Herndon.
