Update: Police Identify Bicyclist from Fatal Crash in Herndon
The bicyclist, a native of Jamaica, died when he was struck by an SUV Monday evening.

Fairfax County Police have identified the bicyclist who died in a fatal crash in Herndon on Monday evening as 38-year-old Andrew Greff Gooden, of St. James, Jamaica.
Gooden and another cyclist were riding north on Sunrise Valley Drive Monday evening when he was hit from behind by a 2014 Chevrolet Suburban SUV traveling in the same direction. Gooden was said to not be wearing reflective clothing or using lights on his bike to indicate his presence on the road.
The SUV was driven by a 29-year-old Fairfax resident who stayed on the scene after the crash. Gooden was transported to Reston Hospital Center, where he later passed away.
