Woman Assaulted, Kidnapped In Herndon: Police Report
Herndon Police are investigating a recent assault and kidnapping that occurred in the town.

HERNDON, VA — Herndon Police are investigating a recent assault and kidnapping that happened in the town, according to the weekly crime report.
The victim told police that during the overnight hours of Sunday, Oct. 10, and Monday, Oct. 12, a person she knew assaulted her and prevented her from leaving a location in the 700 block of Lynn St. This case remains under investigation.

Between Oct. 12-18, Town of Herndon police officers issued 50 traffic summons, including two for driving while intoxicated, three for driving with no operator's license, and one for driving on a suspended or revoked license.
There were seven reportable traffic accidents in Herndon. Virginia State Police define "reportable crashes" as those that result in $1,500 in property damage and/or injury.
