HERNDON, VA — Fairfax County Police officers from the Reston District Station are investigating the Thursday night robbery of a woman outside of a Herndon area apartment complex, according to the weekly crime report.

Around 8:52 p.m., a woman entered the common area in the 13500 block of Virginia Randolph Ave. in the Ashford Meadows Apartments complex, when a man approached her.

The man implied that he had a gun and demanded the woman hand over her personal property. After the woman complied, the man fled the scene.
