• Monticello High students stage walkout in support of principal (cvillerightnow.com) — Monticello High School students staged a walkout supporting principal Beth Costa after Albemarle County Public Schools said she and two other principals would be out of their buildings for an extended period without explanation. The division stressed these absences are unrelated to investigations involving a former Hollymead and Woodbrook staffer, while a retired principal has stepped in at Monticello and students continue voicing concern over leadership changes and recent safety issues.
