We need volunteers for
Dogapalooza! Last Chance Animal Rescue is partnering with PetSmart Charities
for our second annual Mega Adoption event April 11 through April 14 at the
PetSmart in the Central Park shopping center in Fredericksburg, VA.
Our goal is to place more than 600 dogs in one weekend! We are expecting some
20,000 people to come and will have live radio/media coverage. If we meet our
goal this will be a record for a mega adoption event in the United States! More
than 20 rescue groups and shelters will be participating to help find homeless
animals loving homes.
It will be an outdoor event being held in big circus like tents with lots of
exciting things...giveaways, face painting, live radio broadcasts each
day...cheerleaders...flash mobs...lots of social media coverage!
Do you love dogs and
cats? We will need more than 100 volunteers to help. We need dog walkers, dog
holders, kitty wranglers, gate keepers, overnight security, safety patrols,
people with laptops to check references, people with cell phones to do vet
checks, people to monitor the exits and all around helpers.
