Chocolatier of The Year @ Pastry Live

Please come out to Atlanta and support Stafford Chef Carlo Figarella.  Chef Figarella will be competing in The Chocolatier of Year at Pastry Live on Sunday-August 25th.


Chef Carlo Figarella graduated from the Culinary Institute of America and honed his cake decorating techniques while working at the Hotel du Pont in Wilmington, Delaware. He then moved on to become the Assistant Pastry Chef at the Ritz Carlton in Tysons Corner, Virginia for three years. In 2008, Chef Figarella began to pursue a career in education working at the Art Institute of Washington. At the Art Institute of Washington he has discovered a passion for guiding the future chefs of tomorrow through the wonderful world of Baking and Pastry.


The Chocolatier of the Year competition is designed with small chocolatier business owners in mind, offering national recognition for their skills and the opportunity for these artisans to display their talents in a competitor friendly environment. In order to give the audience a voice in the judging process, attendees will have the chance to taste test the competitor’s chocolates and vote for their favorite chocolatier for the People’s Choice Award.
