On Sunday, May 17 at 10:30am at the Irish Channel in Washington DC, join us for a St. Patrick's Day Singles Mixer on this festive and fun day when everyone in downtown Washington goes green. At this exclusive event for DC’s premier social club, DC Global Adventurers, we'll beat the crowds at the Irish Channel Pub at 10:30am for a delicious pint of Irish beer (Guinness, Harp or Smithwick's), some pre-parade food (not included) and some lively Irish music. Around noon, we'll take a free shuttle bus to the parade route on Constitution Ave and enjoy this awesome spectacle of shamrocks, dancers and good times.
While downing our drinks and enjoying some Irish food and song, we'll get to know each other and do introductions. In addition to the delicious Irish brews on tap, typical Irish fare will be available for an early lunch for those who are hungry, lamb stew, shepherd's pie, fish and chips and the rest are all on the menu. Don't miss this amazing once-a-year cultural spectacle right here in DC.
This is a metro-friendly location. Please plan ahead on responsible transportation if you plan to drink after the parade. We will meet at the Irish Channel pub at 10:30 and then take the shuttle to watch the parade around 12:30. The parade is scheduled to last 12-3. Shuttle bus will be available to return to the pub periodically during and after the parade. Event organization ends at 3pm, but members may return to the pub or go bar-hopping after the parade.
Tickets are $20. No tickets will be sold at the door. Get your tickets online for this St. Patrick's Day Singles Mixer on Sunday, March 17 at 500 H Street Northwest, Washington, DC at 10:30am at http://www.dcadventurers.com/events/104892752/.
